World Nature Conservation Day

World Nature Conservation Day was celebrated in the premises of D.A.V PPS, Fatehabad. The District Education officer Mr. Dayanand Sihag was the guest of honour of the day. The day was celebrated by planting saplings and by distributing the saplings to the students. The main objective behind celebrating the day is to conserve trees and animals that are on the verge of going extinct from the natural environment of the Earth. The day also recognizes that a healthy environment is a foundation for a stable and productive society. This day also ensures the well-being of present and future generations.
